At Devonshire Sofas, the day to day running of our family business is taken not only as a serious business, but also one that we all enjoy very much as part of our lives.

Like deciding which fabrics to show on our display sofas, which colours and shades look best together, the arrangement and sizes of cushions and all the while listening to what our customers like, and seeing the end result of each of their choices.
Indeed, the actual designs of our sofas are a result of our thirty years combined experience in the furniture industry.
When you have been dealing in sofas for that length of time, you do learn a thing or two about what your customers like as regards designs, sizes and shapes, etc.

The experience has also taught us that taking care in what you don't see is what pays dividends, not only for our reputation, but more importantly for your greater comfort.
Things like hand picking the best Beech wood for the frames, checking for knots and shakes before planing and shaping the wood for each customer's choice of size and design (some of the reasons we are able to give a 10 year construction guarantee).

We are also able to offer a choice of seat: soft, medium or firm, because we use traditional fully coil sprung seating units which can be adjusted to each customer's needs and this, together with the Dupont quallofil seat cushions and duck feather in the back cushions, makes sitting on one of our sofas a truly unique experience.
